Taken from our own packaging label, which states it as a minimum. For context, EN 1154's durability test runs to 500,000 cycles, so this is double what the standard asks. Ask us for the test basis if the figure matters to your specification.

Inside the body

• Alloy steel gear, with the piston given three extra precision-finishing operations.
• Rack-and-pinion hydraulic action, with the closing speed and the latch controlled by separate valves.
• Imported seals and needle bearings, which is what the factory credits for its leak resistance.
• High-performance spring structure, so the closing force holds up over the life of the unit.

Choosing the right size

Light doors. At this width and weight rating, F-051 typically covers interior doors, washroom and utility doors, and small office doors — openings where the leaf is narrow and light, and the closer only has to overcome the latch.

Check before you order

• Measure the door leaf width and compare it with the 800 mm limit. Measure the leaf itself, not the frame opening.
• Check the door weight: this model is rated up to 45 kg. If you cannot weigh it, tell us the leaf size, material and thickness and we will estimate it.
• Exterior doors and doors in draughty corridors face wind pressure the specification does not account for. If the door is exposed, say so — it can push the choice up a power size.
• For a fire-rated opening, ask us for the certificate covering this exact model and your market before specifying it. A series name is not itself a certification.
