Hold-open door closers

The models here have a catalogue-recorded mechanical hold-open or positioning function. The exact arrangement varies by model — for example, an adjustable position, a hook or spring, a slide-rail position or a stop function — so the model page matters.

Hold-open is a product-specific function

A hold-open position does not work the same way on every closer. It can be integrated into a standard arm, a hook or spring, a slide rail, or another specified arrangement. The list below keeps those models together for selection, while each model page states the recorded function.

A closer recorded as closing freely from 180 degrees is excluded. It should not be presented to a buyer as a hold-open model because a similar product image appears nearby.

Fire-door requirements are separate

A mechanical hold-open function is not evidence that it releases on fire alarm. For a fire-rated opening, confirm the local project requirement and ask for the document and release arrangement that applies to that exact opening.

For every other door, tell us the required opening angle and mounting arrangement. Those two details decide whether the catalogue function is useful in the installed door.

Models with a catalogue-recorded hold-open or positioning function

This is a function list, not a fire-door certification list. Model pages identify the particular positioning arrangement recorded for each closer.

Confirm the complete door before ordering

These pages narrow the choice from published catalogue figures. Send the leaf width, weight, fitting arrangement and destination market with your inquiry so we can confirm the final configuration and availability.

This is an inquiry, not an order. Nothing is charged online.
